Introduction

Before designing a field survey, it is important to review other surveys conducted on the same topic. This helps understand the various components of a survey on that topic as well as calibrate the length and expected time of surveys.

Additionally, it may be of interest to ensure that question wording exactly matches the wording of a survey deployed in another context, or to understand where randomizations may allow additional information to be discovered.
